A Welcome from the Pastor...

Welcome to Mosaic!

Mosaic is a different from most churches in our area.  We like to say, "Mosaic is a place where you can be real."  We are really striving to be an authentic faith community.  At Mosaic the emphasis isn't about what you wear to worship, how much money you make, what you do for a living, or how long you've been a member or attender.  Our members and attenders are just "regular" people who aren't trying to impress anyone.  At MCF, the church isn't as much about a "place" where you come, but about people.  That's why we don't obsess to much over the traditional 3 B's (buildings, budget and bodies). We recognize that the church isn't about our leadership, elders, small group leaders or any one person.  It's about God and His glory!  We constantly work to make sure that we never lose sight of that concept  and priority  of putting  God and  His will  first.  That's why prayer is such an important part of our weekly worship celebrations, small groups and elder leadership.  Prayer is our life-line to God.

The Mosaic Community is a group of people who don't "have it all together" and are by no means perfect.  We know it's biblically impossible for any of us to be perfect and have all the answers.  If you're looking for a church where everything's perfect and there's an answer for everything then you will probably be disappointed in Mosaic.  We are simply a group of fellow strugglers in the faith who are trying our best to become  fully devoted  Christ followers.  We like to say,  Mosaic is a  place where sin abounds, but grace abounds more.   We view Christianity and the church as a journey we're all traveling together.   We are all at different points on the journey and need each other's help.  That's why small groups are such an important part of Mosaic.

Small Groups provide an opportunity for people to "connect" with tenured Christ-followers, seekers, and those who've even been out of church for a long time.  Small Groups meet weekly in various homes for the purpose of connecting, developing a greater sense of community and focusing on our spiritual formation.  The groups are like a family in terms of security, love, help, and encouragement, but they are always open to new faces!   Through our small group ministry we are determined to become a church where nobody stands alone!  We recognize that God created people for community and small groups are one of the primary ways we seek to live out the concept of biblical community.  To find out more about small groups just click on the "small groups" tab on the website.

Thanks for checking out our website.  Let me encourage you to explore our core beliefs and values.  See what we're all about.  Ask God if Mosaic might be the kind of faith community He wants you to be involved in, then come check us out.  Mosaic may or may not be the kind of faith community you need.  However, please let us know how we can be praying for you.  Just click on the prayer tab and you'll have the opportunity to submit a confidential prayer request.  We would love to pray for you and your specific need regardless of your church affiliation.  Please don't hesitate to email or call the church office if you have any questions about Mosaic.

Enjoying the Journey,

Monty
